PIA Mobile - GPRS
Zaqsoft has developed a mobile reservation service for Pakistan International Airlines. The service allows customers with GPRS enabled mobile phones to access PIA online reservation system by going to www.piamobile.com. The user friendly interface allows the customer to select his preferred flight, specify his seat, submit his or her name and make a reservation against which the customer receives a Valid PNR (Passenger Name Reference). The customer can then proceed to a PIA E Ticketing Kiosk and purchase their E Ticket using a Credit Card or by paying cash at a PIA booking office. The service was successfully launched in September 2006. Zaqsoft can customize the solution for other airlines as well.

PIA Mobile – 7422
PIA’s SMS service also know as PIA Mobile is an SMS service which allows PIA customers to check to make a reservation, check flight schedules, look up available seats, check their PNR status and Awards Plus miles. The service was developed and is hosted by Zaqsoft. It can be accessed by all four Major Cellular Customers in Pakistan (Mobilink, Ufone, Telenor & Warid). The customer simply sends his preferred flight details along with name and can make his or her reservation anywhere anytime without having to office or home. PIA in collaboration with Zaqsoft is the first airline to launch such a service in Pakistan. To access PIA Mobile simply send an SMS to 7422 (PIAC) and follow the instructions.
