Ufone Self Service Top up & Bill payment Kiosk
Ufone has partnered with Zaqsoft and CC Technologies to provide self service kiosks at Ufone Customer Service Centers across Pakistan. This new facility allows customers to Top-Up or pay their monthly Post Pay bill these 24 x 7 Kiosks that accept payment via Cash and Credit Card. Customers no longer have to wait in line and can complete their transaction within 2 to 3 minutes at the Kiosk. In addition to bill payment and Top-Up the Kiosk provides content download which includes ring tones, video clips, wall papers, screen savers etc.
Zaqsoft has developed a robust user friendly touch enabled interface with both English and Urdu language options. The Kiosk validates all Pakistani currency notes (old & new) and issues a confirmation receipts against each transaction. Zaqsoft's Remote management system, monitors all Kiosk transactions and also keeps a health check of each component.
This service was first launched in August 2008 and is currently available at selected Ufone Customer Service Centers and other Zaqsoft Kiosks located at Airports and Commercial buildings.

Self Service Bill Payment Kiosk at SSGC (Sui Southern Gas Company)

Zaqsoft has successfully deployed the first customized bill payment and value added services Kiosk at SSGC's head office Customer Facilitation Center (CFC) in Karachi. The kiosk helps SSGC customers to pay their Gas utility bill without having to wait in line. At present SSGC has allowed payment via however the kiosk will soon allow payment through credit cards.
No more waiting in lines. SSGC customers can use the user friendly touch screen kiosk to pay their monthly bills. Zaqsoft has developed a user friendly yet robust front end Graphical interface in both Urdu and English. All transactions will be immediately updated to SSGC’s central database. The kiosk also offers bar code reading which could further speed up the customer payment process once bar codes have been printed on SSGC bills. The Kiosk also facilitates duplicate bill printing and provides other information like regional CFC address, SMS Service help, and Customer Feedback option.
The Kiosk service is part of a major strategic alliance between SSGC and Zaqsoft for providing Self Service Bill payment services via Kiosks and Mobile (SMS) to facilitate customer service. SSGC and Zaqsoft formally signed off on this strategic partnership in April 2008 and have already launched the SMS in July 2008.

PIA Self Service Check In service
Zaqsoft in collaboration with Sabre succesfully deployed the very first Self Service Check In Kiosk service for Pakistan International Airlines at Jinnah International Terminal Karachi. PIA being the National flag carrier handles over 60% of the countries domestic and international air traffic. PIA partnered with Zaqsoft to provide several customer convenience services such as E- Ticketing Kiosks, Mobile E Ticketing / reservation (SMS & GPRS) and now Self Service Check In via Kiosks.
This first Kiosk has been deployed at Jinnah International Terminal, Domestic departures section. PIA plans to offer Self Check In services at all major international airports across Pakistan including Lahore, Islamabad and other cities. PIA also plans to implement Self Check in for International Departures during 2009.
This new initiative from PIA is in line with IATA requirements to all international airlines which will save cost and offer added convenience to their customers through such products and services. PIA is currently the only Airline in Pakistan to Offer E Ticketing and Check In services on Self Service Kiosks as well as Self Service Mobile Reservation & E-Ticketing. All of these initiatives have been developed and managed by Zaqsoft.

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) SMS Service Launch

Zaqsoft has developed and launched a new SMS enabled service for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) customers. SSGC’s SMS service allows its customers to access billing information as well as other value added services on their Mobile phones / hand held devices.
The service is accessible via SMS Short code 7742 (SSGC). Using the SMS service SSGC Customers can now fetch their monthly bill, last six months payment history, usage history, send feedback, and obtain a list of addresses of Customer Facilitation Centres (CFCs) around Sindh and Balochistan. The SMS Facility is accessible to customers subscribing through all five major cellular service providers in Pakistan namely Mobilink, Ufone, Warid, Telenor and Zong.
The customer can simply type bill<space>customer number or bill<space>meter number and send it to short code 7742. Likewise if the customer simply types and sends ‘SSGC’ the customer will be offered a HELP menu through which he can access other available services.
The launch of the SMS facility is seen as part of SSGC’s continuous approach towards providing convenient value-added services which are key to high-class customer service.
The launch of the SMS facility is part of a major strategic alliance with Zaqsoft Private Limited for providing Self Service Bill payment services via Kiosks and Mobile (SMS) to facilitate customer service. SSGC and Zaqsoft formally signed off on this strategic partnership in April 2008 and the SMS Service is the first live service being launched soon to be followed by Bill payment kiosks.

SSGC signs agreement with ZAQsoft

SSGC took another pragmatic step towards consolidating its position as Pakistan’s most IT-enabled company when it signed an major customer facilitation alliance with ZAQSoft (Pvt.) Ltd. that would allow its customers bill-payment facility through a ZAQSoft-developed self-service Kiosk and SMS service. By entering into this state-of-the-art customer-centric arrangement, SSGC has become the first utility company to introduce such a multi-purpose Kiosk in Pakistan for the facility of its burgeoning customer base in Sindh and Balochistan.
The agreement was inked by Captain (R) Mohammad Arif, Senior General Manager (Customer Services), SSGC and Shahrukh Qaiser, CEO, ZAQSoft (Pvt) Ltd. PSO Central Information System Service Launch

Zaqsoft organized and hosted a ceremony to formally launch the Central Information System (CIS) developed for Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd. The launch was attended by Chief Guest Mr. Kalim A. Siddiqui – Executive Director Customer Services and other members of PSO and Zaqsoft’s senior management. Central Information System (CIS) is a supervisory control and data acquisition solution developed and managed by Zaqsoft for PSO. The system will integrate live information from all PSO’s New Vision Retail Outlets nationwide, effectively offering the company full insight throughout the virtual enterprise. The system will be used for building multiple future decision support and management applications based on real time retail information from all outlets. In addition the solution will offer alarms monitoring e.g. misuse of cards, pricing etc and allow central control of forecourt equipment from the Head Office. PSO has partnered with ZAQSoft a premier technology company to put in place all these high end initiatives to bring better service and support to the customer. |

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)
September 2006 - Zaqsoft deployed the very first E Ticketing Kiosk in Pakistan for Pakistan International Airlines at Quaid e Azam International Terminal Karachi. The Kiosk project was initiated and developed by Zaqsoft and was inaugurated by Chairman PIA Mr. Tariq Kirmani at a ceremony held on 9th September 06. The Kiosk application was fully developed by Zaqsoft and interfaces with the PIA Ticketing and Reservation system. Zaqsoft have used industry standard Hardware and software to develop this product. PIA has outsourced the kiosk project to Zaqsoft who now deploy and manage all Ticketing and Check in Kiosks at all the Major Airports and other strategic locations within Pakistan. PIA customers can now make their reservations, purchase tickets and check flight schedules at any time with having to visit a ticketing office or having to wait in long lines. |

MILLAT Tractors ERP Implementaion

Millat Tractors, Zaqsoft and IFS signed an agreement to implement a complete ERP solution at Millat Tractors Limited. The project was launched in February 2006. Millat, which manufactures and distributes some 30,000 Massey Ferguson tractors a year, will soon have comprehensive functionality of an ERP solution that will provide an integrated information platform for the vehicle manufacturer. |

Retail Automation Quality Assurance (RAQA) Inauguration
Karachi, April 08 PPI: Pakistan State Oil will continue to acquire cutting edge technology in all spheres to maintain its position as the premier oil marketing company of the country. This was stated by Tariq Kirmani, PSO Managing Director, at inauguration of first state-of-the-art Retail Automation Quality AssuranceI (RAQA) van at company-owned site at Clifton, Karachi. He asked members of PSO retail team to integrate and effectively use information obtained through new information ecosystem being installed by the company. PSO will be working closely with ZAQSoft, system providers, to ensure success of the project. PSO has already commissioned over 200 units with Pump Controller System and Forecourt Districtribution Module as part of leading edge automation package designed and implemented by Zaqsoft. |

Pakistan State Oil Retail Automation CRM inauguration by ED.CS
PSO’s Executive Director Customer Services inaugurated Zaqsoft online Complaint Registration and Management system (CRM) for managing PSO’s retail Automation Project Maintenance. The 4CourtDc CRM was completely developed by Zaqsoft it has a database of all 3800 PSO New Vision and Oil Vision Retail outlets. The system allows PSO dealers to call at a UAN or Toll Free help line where the Dealers ID and Outlet name is automatically picked up by the system. The CRM agents then register the dealers complaint and provide him with a system generated complaint number. The complaint is automatically passed on to Zaqsofts field engineers who are present in all 14 Divisions of PSO across the country. Once the field engineer has attended to and rectified the complaint they are able to access the online CRM system through a web app and submit all relevant details along with digital photos if necessary. The system then provides real time in depth analysis of maintenance related operations for PSO’s Retail Automation Project. |

Pakistan State Oil Signing Ceremony
PSO and Zaqsoft signed a Retail Automation Agreement for implementing Zaqsoft’s 4Court Dc Pump Controller Solution at 1000 PSO New Vision Retail Outlets across Pakistan. The 4Court DC solution developed by Zaqsoft will provide real time sales information from each dispenser installed at an outlet and also facilitate PSO’s Cards program by eliminating manual entry of sales on the HFT Terminal. The 4Court Dc has been customized for the Pakistani environment and operates in both Post Paid and Preauthorized mode. Eventually the system will integrate with Zaqsoft’s Central Information System (CIS) and provide real time online monitoring and control to Pakistan State Oil over all automated Retail Outlets. The system also allows centralized remote price change on dispensers as well as monolith towers, Station accounting, Wet Stock management through Auto Tank Guages, Vehicle Identification and Self Service fueling options. |
